BARC - Balanced Animal Rehab and Training Center – Middleborough, MA
Balanced Animal Rehab and Training Center supports dogs in recovery, fitness, and everyday mobility in a fun and supportive atmosphere. The facility provides services such as hydration therapy, underwater treadmill work, pulsed electromagnetic field therapy, red light therapy, canine massage, laser therapy, and myofascial manipulation to help dogs regain strength and joy after injury or to stay fit and active. Leading the center is Lisa Podielsky, a former emergency veterinary specialist who now holds—or is soon to complete—a Certified Companion Animal Therapist certification. Her team also includes skilled trainers such as Rebecca Guaraldo, a Master Agility Champion and experienced obedience competitor, Laura Solod, a Certified Nose Work Instructor, Robin Botelho, a rally training specialist, Pat Conn, who teaches puppy, obedience, trick, and fitness classes, and Pat Chery and Amy Stephens, both seasoned expert trainers in competitive and behavioral obedience.
The center offers structured rehabilitation alongside foundational training programs in areas like agility, rally, nose work, trick dog, and puppy basics. Designed for dogs of all ages and abilities, BARC creates a welcoming space where both recovery and active learning happen together.
