Schenectady Dog Training Club – Scotia, NY

Schenectady Dog Training Club has been serving the community since 1951, offering affordable and effective training programs for both purebred and mixed-breed dogs. Located in Scotia, New York, the club provides a welcoming environment where handlers of all levels can learn and grow with their dogs.

Classes are held in a climate-controlled, fully matted facility and include Puppy Kindergarten, Beginner Obedience, advanced Manners, Foundations for Dog Sports, Competition Obedience at all levels, Rally, Conformation Handling, and Nose Work. The club also offers AKC Canine Good Citizen testing, Intro to Agility, and specialized classes such as Attention, Heeling, and Retrieving.

Beyond training, SDTC supports the community through demonstration teams, show-n-gos, holiday events, and other activities that celebrate the bond between people and their dogs. With decades of experience, the club remains a cornerstone for dog training in the Capital Region.
